The Australian Flying Disc Association (AFDA) is the national sporting organisation responsible for flying disc sports in Australia, including Ultimate and Disc Golf. AFDA works with state member organisations to grow participation, deliver national events and support Australian teams competing internationally.
AFDA is seeking an independent member to join its newly established Finance Audit & Risk Committee.
The Committee supports the AFDA Board in overseeing financial sustainability, financial reporting, audit processes and enterprise risk management. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the governance and financial stewardship of a growing national sport.
The Committee meets approximately 4–5 times per year online. Prior experience in flying disc is not required and applications from candidates with accounting, financial governance or risk management expertise are strongly encouraged.
