We are seeking a Non-Executive Director to join our Board for a three-year term, with the potential for renewal. This is an unpaid position, with reasonable expenses covered, suited to individuals with expertise in philanthropy, commerce or finance who are passionate about supporting ageing communities and contributing to meaningful social impact.
Position Description
Non-Executive Board Directors with a breadth of experience at Board and organisation level and skills in the areas of philanthropy, commerce or finance matched by an understanding of the needs of housing older people.
About the Organisation
The Cottage Homes Inc. (TCHI) is an established and credible organisation supporting older South Australians on the full Age or Age Service Pension to maintain their independence and dignity in secure, affordable rental housing.
New Board Members will be joining TCHI at an exciting time as the organisation is engaged in several key development initiatives. These will significantly grow the number of units offered for rent across metropolitan Adelaide and into regional areas.
With a well-established governance framework, experienced Board Chair and CEO, TCHI offers in-coming Board Directors a comprehensive induction process. The skills-based Board, currently comprising six Directors, is seeking to add up to two new members.
