SARAA, the South Australian Rainbow Advocacy Alliance Inc., is a community-led, member-based South Australian peak body representing the interests of LGBTIQA+ communities, and the sector that supports them.

SARAA is fortunate to be in a growth period, having achieved multi-year funding to support our work through partnerships with the Department of Human Services and Preventative Health SA. 

We are currently seeking a new treasurer to support our organisation through this exciting growth period, and are looking for applications from LGBTIQA+ people with financial experience to step into this role.  

We particularly encourage applications from individuals with financial governance experience who are passionate about community impact.

As a member of the SARAA Board you’ll:

  • make an impact for and with the South Australian LGBTIQ+ community

  • learn from a passionate, supportive, inclusive and experienced team of advocates

  • lead and shape an emerging organisation as we solidify our foundations and support our community. 

This role will play a key part in strengthening SARAA’s financial sustainability and supporting the organisation’s transition into a mature, funded peak body.

This is a volunteer position.
