CALD2LEAD has been transforming and strengthening communities since 2019. We work in partnership with organisations and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities to provide scholarships and high-quality leadership programs that empower CALD women leaders.

CALD2LEAD is an Incorporated Association governed by a voluntary Board committed to advancing the organisation’s vision and purpose. Our Board works collaboratively across strategy, governance, fundraising, administration, and program delivery. There are currently seven members on the Board, and we are seeking an experienced, organised, and committed Secretary to support the effective functioning of the Board and ensure strong governance practices.

Board members at CALD2LEAD carry important legal and ethical responsibilities to ensure the organisation delivers on its not-for-profit objectives. This includes contributing time, compassion, energy, expertise, and strategic insight through governance, committee work, fundraising, and community engagement.

The Secretary acts as a trusted governance advisor to the Chair and Board, ensuring strong governance practices, accurate record keeping, and effective coordination of Board processes.

This role requires high levels of integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, and a sound understanding of governance requirements.

As CALD2LEAD operates without paid employees, Board members may also contribute to operational priorities such as events, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and program delivery.
