Are you a senior finance leader looking to develop Board experience and make a real impact on Greater Bendigo Loddon’s visitor economy? We’re seeking a volunteer Board Director for our Visitor Economy Partnership, Destination Greater Bendigo Loddon, with strategic financial management skills to join our Board, act as treasurer and provide strategic financial oversight, strong governance and expert guidance as we drive tourism growth across the region.

About the Role

As a key member of the Board, you’ll lead the Board’s financial governance responsibilities, overseeing financial performance, budgets, audits, compliance and long-term planning. You’ll play a key role in ensuring transparent stewardship of public funds and supporting strategic investment decisions across the region.

What You’ll Bring

  • Senior financial leadership experience (CPA/CA highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of public sector financial management
  • Board, committee, or executive level governance experience
  • Ability to interpret complex financial information and provide strategic advice
  • High integrity, independence and sound judgement
