We are looking for committed Board members who will actively assist, contribute to, and strengthen the CCCC as the peak body for Not‑For‑Profit organisations on the Central Coast, representing our region across local, State, and Federal forums.

We are currently funded by Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to deliver healthy relationship training to children, young people and families on the Central Coast.

The Board also works in the sphere of social development by endeavouring to strengthen and support community sector organisations, sharing knowledge and better practices, hosting communities of practice and interagency forums, as well as collaborating with like-minded organisations and individuals.

Our primary functions are to:

● deliver Thrive Together – a respectful relationships education program for young people aged 11-17, designed to prevent relationship violence and promote healthy, respectful interactions.

● lead and participate in key interagency groups throughout the region, sharing information, identifying issues, building connections

● inform advocacy and project work from all shared knowledge

● participate in consultation processes which contribute to planning, social policy, and service delivery
