WRISC Family Violence Support Inc. is a feminist, values-driven organisation committed to safety, equality and opportunity for all people. Guided by the principles of innovation, integrity, respect and trust, we work to create meaningful change for women and children experiencing family violence.
We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from people who identify as women who would like to contribute their expertise as a Director (voluntary) on the WRISC Board of Governance. We welcome interest from women who live or work within the Central Highlands region and can contribute meaningful local knowledge, community insight, and place-based understanding to our work.
We are seeking applicants who have skills or experience in any of the following areas:
- Sector experience — family violence practice knowledge or lived experience, human services leadership, program design and delivery
- Governance — board experience, risk oversight, strategic leadership, feminist leadership
- Business or strategy development
- Legislative and compliance frameworks
- Financial management — accounting, budgeting, audit, financial oversight
- ICT or cyber security — digital systems, data protection, technology governance
