Deutsche Schule Melbourne (DSM) is a German-English bilingual primary school with a dual curriculum offering Foundation to Year 6 - with plans to become a secondary school. The school is not only bilingual but also follows two curricula as lessons are taught in line with both the Victorian and the German curriculum.
DSM is seeking to fill the role of Board Treasurer, a volunteer position.
The Treasurer plays a key leadership role on the DSM Board, contributing to the strategic direction and financial stewardship of the school.
In addition to attending Board meetings (minimum of five per year) and chairing the Finance Subcommittee, the Treasurer oversees the Board’s governance responsibilities in relation to the school’s financial sustainability and performance. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the school community by helping to ensure the organisation's long-term financial health and sustainability.
