Board Members Wanted – Domestic Violence Recovery Centre (Gold Coast)

After The Violence Recovery Centre is seeking experienced, values‑aligned Board Members to guide the establishment of a new trauma‑informed domestic violence recovery centre. Providing Support, Community, Advocey, and Accomodation all in the one location.

We are still in the early stages of establishment, and i would welcome to guidance, assistance and/or g

We are specifically inviting interest from:

  • Senior legal professionals

  • Accountants and finance leaders

  • OAM recipients with governance or community leadership

This is a foundational governance role supporting:

  • Ethical oversight and compliance

  • Financial stewardship and risk management

  • Strategic partnerships with government, philanthropy, and community

  • Development of a safe, dignified recovery environment for women and children

Voluntary position. With the ACNC registration in progress.
