MBC Action Australia is a national a grassroots advocacy organisation formed by people with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) for people with metastatic breast cancer. We are seeking 2 passionate Board members. Our mission is to improve the lives and health outcomes of people with MBC through community building and evidence‑based advocacy. We envision a future where people with MBC are seen, heard, supported—and no one faces this diagnosis alone. Board Directors are responsible for the overall governance, strategic direction, and sustainability of MBC Action Australia. Directors act collectively to ensure the organisation remains focused on its mission, operates ethically and legally, and delivers meaningful impact for people living with MBC across Australia. MBC Action Australia values diverse perspectives and lived experience and are seeking Directors with expertise in areas such as advocacy, health policy, governance, finance, law, communications, fundraising, or lived experience of MBC or caring for someone with MBC. Prior board experience is welcomed but not essential.
