Princes Hill Community Centre is seeking a volunteer Treasurer to join its Committee of Management. The role involves providing financial governance and strategic oversight, reviewing quarterly financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial and legal obligations, and supporting the Centre Manager on the organisation's financial direction. The Treasurer also coordinates the preparation of annual financial statements and helps ensure sound financial management practices.
The position requires approximately 4 hours per quarter, with quarterly Board meetings held on Tuesday evenings at the Princes Hill Community Centre. Ideal candidates will have experience interpreting financial reports, understanding organisational financial viability, contributing to strategic planning, and communicating effectively.
