Volunteer: School Board Director

Moreton Bay Birali Steiner School Association is a Not-for-Profit Association seeking an experienced School Board Director with an interest in education governance to support a growing Steiner School in Beachmere Queensland.

Birali Steiner School has grown significantly in recent years with building stages ongoing in 2026 and beyond. The Birali School Board is now seeking the commitment of an additional volunteer Board Director whose skills and expertise will complement the collective capability of the current Board and contribute to effective board governance and strategic oversight.

Board Director expectations:

  • Participate in one Board meeting per month online.
  • Prepare for meetings by accessing required Board documentation online.
  • Qld Blue Card registration will be essential.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with a governance understanding and skills and experience in: 

  • Board Governance & Administration
  • Financial Literacy and Fiscal oversight
  • Strategic Planning and Execution
