Coastwide Child and Family Services Ltd is a trusted, community-based not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting children, families and educators across the Central Coast and surrounding regions for more than 40 years.
The safety, wellbeing and rights of children are at the heart of everything we do. As a Child Safe Organisation, Coastwide is committed to creating environments where children are safe, respected, heard and empowered. Our Board plays a vital role in ensuring that child safety remains a fundamental consideration in every strategic and governance decision.
As we enter an exciting period of growth, innovation and strategic development, we are seeking up to two new Directors to join our Board.
This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise to a financially responsible, values-driven organisation that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families and communities.

Who We're Looking For
We welcome expressions of interest from people who are committed to ethical leadership, strong governance and improving outcomes for children and families.
While we value diverse skills and experience, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following:

Finance, accounting or audit

Business strategy

Governance and risk management
-
Legal or commercial leadership
-
Community, education or not-for-profit leadership
Previous board experience is welcomed but not essential. We value people who ask thoughtful questions, contribute constructively and are committed to continuous improvement.
The Role of the Board
As a Director, you will work collaboratively with fellow Board members and the Chief Executive Officer to:

Provide strategic leadership and organisational oversight.

Ensure sound financial stewardship and long-term sustainability.

Support effective governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Uphold Coastwide's commitment to being a Child Safe Organisation, ensuring the safety, wellbeing and rights of children remain paramount in governance and decision-making.
