The Brisbane Jazz Club is looking for a Treasurer to join our management committee.

For more than 60 years this club has run on the goodwill of volunteers and strong community support Behind every gig sits a set of books that need to balance, and we need someone to look after them.

What the role involves

  • Reporting the club's financial position to the committee each month
  • Overseeing the bookkeeper, budgets, and cash flow
  • Preparing the annual financial statements for the AGM
  • Keeping our tax, superannuation, and payroll obligations on track

What we are after Accounting, bookkeeping, or business finance experience. 

This is a voluntary management committee position.
