As Drive Against Depression (DAD) grows, so does the need to welcome new skills, ideas and capacity to our mental health charity. We’re now looking for an Events Director to join our team and Board who can be part of driving our next stage of community service and impact.

A bit about the role…

The Events Director is a central to the delivery of DAD’s mission, and is responsible for contributing to a structured approach to team, event and organisational growth.

Broadly, the Events Director will be responsible for:

· Collaboration and strategic planning as part of the DAD Board of Directors.

· Recommending a national event strategy, with consideration to DAD’s mental health objectives and strategic goals.

· Drafting and maintaining DAD’s national cornerstone event calendar, and collaborating with the Executive Director regarding bespoke events and resource needs.

· Operational leadership and delivery coordination of DAD events.

· Engagement with existing and prospective partners and stakeholders.

· Oversight and management of DAD’s event risk management and due diligence processes.

· Leading DAD’s volunteer event team.

This is a volunteer Executive Director role (hard costs reimbursed) that offers an exciting opportunity for someone to bring their enthusiasm for mental health and automotive to our organisation and community.

· Experienced in managing multiple moving pieces

· Enthusiastic and outcomes focused
