The Chairperson provides governance leadership and strategic oversight of Open Table, working closely with the Board and CEO to steer the organisation toward its mission while ensuring it stays financially sound, well governed and compliant.

Key duties:

  • Chair Board and Standing Committee meetings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and lead their annual performance review
  • Work with the Board and CEO to develop and implement strategic and financial priorities
  • Oversee governance, risk and compliance
  • Represent Open Table to stakeholders, partners and the community
  • Support Board succession planning and induction of new directors
