Living Proud is a community-controlled association and registered charity that has supported LGBTIQA+SB communities in Western Australia since 1974, and delivers QLife, the national peer support and referral service.
The Board meets monthly in West Perth with online attendance available, and expressions of interest from regional and remote WA are welcome. Governance experience is welcome but not required; we provide induction and mentoring from experienced directors, and we strongly encourage expressions of interest from people currently underrepresented on our Board.
Elected Board members must be members of the association, and shortlisted candidates are supported through membership and nomination ahead of the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 6 October 2026.
