Experience across the nonprofit, government, health and community services, aged care, disability, professional services or corporate sectors is highly valued. As are explicit skills and specialised capabilities developed across finance, innovation, technology, commercial partnerships and large-scale organisational leadership.
For your Directorship to have real lasting value, you need to build trusted relationships - those precious connections achieved by offering a warm, human-centred perspective that shines through as humility, emotional intelligence, respect for diversity, integrity, curiosity and the ability to ‘stand in another person’s shoes’.
If some - or indeed, many of these – feature strongly in your career and you are confident in your ability to engage warmly with stakeholders and provide constructive support/challenge in the Boardroom, we would love to hear from you.
