We are seeking two new volunteer Directors to strengthen our national Board.

We are particularly interested in people with experience in:

  • Fundraising and philanthropy
  • Community development and social innovation

Victorian representation is a particular priority, given HANZA’s work to influence the Victorian Government’s strategy to increase access to housing in regional Victoria, including through the expansion of Homeshare.

We also welcome people with experience in government relations, policy, housing, ageing, disability, research or related areas, although these are not essential.

We are looking for people with strategic thinking, sound judgement, strong relationships and the capacity and enthusiasm to contribute actively to a small, hands-on national Board. Previous Board experience is welcome but not essential.

This opportunity may suit someone with substantial professional or community leadership experience who is semi-retired, retired or working part-time.

The Board meets up to 10 times a year, primarily via Zoom in the late afternoon (AEST). Once a year we meet face to face for a weekend Strategic Workshop
