Join the Port Phillip Community Group Board
Help shape the future of a stronger, more connected community.
Port Phillip Community Group (PPCG) is seeking expressions of interest from passionate and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors.
PPCG is a community organisation working to support people experiencing disadvantage and hardship across the City of Port Phillip and beyond. Through programs including Information Referral and Support, Financial Advice, Emergency Relief, Alma Road Neighbourhood House, Share the Food, and other community engagement initiatives. We work alongside individuals, families, businesses, volunteers and community partners to make a meaningful difference.
As PPCG continues to grow and strengthen its impact, we are looking to broaden the skills and experience around our Board.
We are particularly interested in people with experience in:
- Governance and risk
- Marketing, communications and brand development
- Fundraising, philanthropy and income generation
- Human resources, people and organisational culture
We are looking for directors who can bring strategic thinking, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to community outcomes. Previous Board experience is valued, but we are also interested in people with strong professional expertise who are keen to contribute their skills at a governance level.
Why join the PPCG Board?
This is an opportunity to:
- Help shape the strategic direction of a growing community organisation
- Use your skills and experience to create meaningful social impact
- Contribute to strengthening PPCG's governance, sustainability and community reach
- Work alongside a committed Board, staff team, volunteers and community partners
- Help ensure PPCG is well positioned to respond to emerging community needs
We welcome expressions of interest from people who are committed to PPCG's purpose and would like to play a role in shaping its future.
