About Us
For more than 35 years, we have been a trusted provider of expert mediation, counselling, and workplace wellbeing services across Tasmania. From Employee Assistance Programs to family dispute resolution and workplace training, we’re here to support Tasmanians in building stronger, healthier lives.
We’re entering an exciting phase of growth, guided by a new strategic plan that will deepen our impact and transform how we work to better serve our community. Our values of integrity, compassion, equity, respect, and empowerment guide every decision we make.

As a volunteer Board Member, you’ll:
- Help shape the strategic direction of a thriving community-focused organisation.
- Collaborate with passionate professionals who invite, encourage and value your voice, experiences and perspective.
- Share your skills in a way that has a direct, positive impact on the wellbeing of Tasmanians.
- Develop or expand your experience in governance and leadership.
- Contribute to meaningful change in the mental health and wellbeing landscape across Tasmania.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking new volunteer Board Members from across Tasmania who bring energy, insight and a strong alignment with our mission. We welcome applicants with:
- Experience or strong interest in mental health, mediation, or the community services sector;
- Skills and experience in financial management, IT systems, marketing / business development, or other business-critical areas;
- An understanding of corporate governance principles (or a willingness to learn!);
- A collaborative, curious, and proactive mindset;
- Ability to commit to approximately five hours per month for Board responsibilities; and
- A valid Working with Vulnerable Persons check.
Commitment & Meetings
Our Board meets monthly, with members able to attend in Hobart or online from anywhere in Tasmania. Appointments are for a three-year term, and we offer an inclusive, welcoming Board environment.
