The Treasurer provides oversight of Amber NT’s financial affairs and helps ensure the organisation remains financially responsible, sustainable and compliant. The role includes reviewing budgets, accounts and financial reports, monitoring financial controls and compliance, and advising the Board on financial risks and opportunities.

The Treasurer also contributes to financial planning, reserves and investment considerations, fundraising strategy and the financial implications of the organisation’s strategic and operational plans.
