Laverton Community Integrated Services (LCIS) is seeking new Board members who can bring professional expertise, independent thinking and a commitment to strong governance.
LCIS is a diverse community organisation operating across community services, adult education and training, and early childhood education and care. This breadth makes Board participation both interesting and meaningful, with governance spanning multiple service areas and regulatory environments.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with professional experience in:
• Finance, accounting, audit or financial governance• Legal, governance or regulatory compliance• Human Resources, People & Culture or employment relations
Board members contribute at a strategic and governance level, working alongside fellow Board members and the CEO to support organisational sustainability, good governance, risk oversight and the future direction of LCIS.
We welcome both experienced Board members and professionals considering their first not-for-profit Board appointment. An understanding of the not-for-profit, community, education, early childhood or public sectors would be valuable but is not essential.
This is an opportunity to use your professional skills for genuine community impact while contributing to the governance of an organisation with a long history of serving Melbourne’s west.
