Alternate Director (Volunteer Role) Firebird Support Foundation Ltd – Disability Equipment Redistribution Charity
We’re a small but ambitious charity helping people access the disability equipment they need to live safely and independently. We’re looking for a community‑minded Alternate Director who can step in when one of our Directors is unavailable.
If you have experience in disability support, community services, health, social work, logistics, or simply a passion for helping people, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do

Attend board meetings when needed

Help guide our programs and community partnerships

Support ethical, transparent and effective governance

Bring your lived experience or professional insight to our mission
You don’t need to be a governance expert We welcome applications from people with lived experience of disability, carers, support coordinators, allied health professionals, or volunteers who want to grow into a governance role. Training and onboarding provided.
