How are you managing the risks of data breach in your organisation? In 2021 data is at the core of many organisation?s business operations - mailing lists, client data, supporters, employee files ? and this interdependence is only set to increase as we work to achieve greater impact and scale. But the rapid growth in digital technologies and data collection also presents a risk. With increased awareness and regulatory scrutiny, cyber security and information security incidents are increasing threats to the ability to do our most important work whilst maintaining impact and trust with those who matter most. In this session we will look at the most common causes of data breaches through a series of case studies and understand some of the high-level cyber security controls and data management principles that can be put in place for reducing risk.
