Checking your pulse - Grant Program Health Check

Your grants program is established and appears to be running fairly well. But could it be doing better? Are there aspects of the program?s design and implementation that aren?t quite cutting through?

The Grant Program Health Check is a two-day workshop run by the Australian Institute of Grants Management (AIGM).

The workshop sets out to guide a small group of about 15 program managers through a diagnostic process for their grants program. The process is based on the 18 elements of the AIGM?s Grantmaking Toolkit.

This practice-based workshop will include large group discussions as well as small group work that will enable participants to share practical tips, approaches and ideas with others.

At the end of the workshop, participants can anticipate taking home:

  • A well developed written health check of their program;
  • A list of recommendations for change or development of their program;
  • The skills to complete the analysis of their grant program when they return to their workplace; and
  • The knowledge to argue for any changes that have been identified.

The Grant Program Health Check is suitable for program designers or managers who are looking to review or update their grants program.

Additional session for SmartyGrants users

There will also be an extra hour-long session aimed exclusively at showing SmartyGrants users how to customise your grant programs within SmartyGrants.

Where: Cliftons, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne.
Cost: $95 (inc GST)

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Bookings, Cancellation and Refunds Policy:
Registrations must be paid no later than 10 working days prior to the event. 50% of the registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received more than 10 working days prior to the event; NO REFUND is available where notice of cancellation is received less than 10 working days prior to the event. Substitution of attendees is allowed. Written notice is required for cancellations and substitutions. It is not possible to transfer registration between events.
