The past two years have seen major environmental, health and social challenges and changes throughout Australia and the world. Floods, fires, drought and a pandemic have changed the way we deliver grants to our communities. Citizens demand fast-moving processes that ensure funding goes as quickly as possible to those most in need, or those most able to nudge their communities forward. Though grantmaking may have changed, risks and regulations remain.

At this year?s Grantmaking Intelligence Conference we will look at how to measure and manage risk and reward to ensure that great grantmaking reaches our communities efficiently while keeping the programs themselves off the front pages.

This year we are offering both online and in-person options for Day 1. It would be tempting to play it safe and stage an online-only conference, but frankly we miss the ability to interact with you in real life. Day 2 is in-person only as the point of the musters is to enable participants to meet and interact.

Participation will be rewarded, so come along ready to engage with other grantmakers and share your stories, your wins and your tragedies, and you?ll be in with a chance to take home a prize!

There are two ways to attend the Grantmaking Intelligence Conference in 2022.

Option 1: In-person
This option will give you access to the Grantmaking Intelligence Conference on Thursday 11 August, one of the two muster options (State, federal government and philanthropic grantmakers, OR local government grantmakers), and the SmartyGrants behind the curtain session taking place on Friday 12 August.

Option 2: Online
This option will give you online access to the Grantmaking Intelligence Conference on Thursday 11 August. This option does not include access to the Friday events.

Book with confidence

The whole conference will take place online if the face-to-face option has to be cancelled because of COVID-19. Registrants may also switch their registration to online if their circumstances change as a result of COVID-19. If you feel unwell, please DO NOT attend the conference. We recommend all attendees complete a rapid antigen test before attending.

Vaccination digital certificate

You will need to verify your vaccination status to enter our venue. Please download the Service Victoria app and link your vaccination certificate before you arrive. (COVID-safe requirements are subject to Victorian Government directions and are subject to change.)

Bookings, Cancellation and Refunds Policy:
Registrations must be paid no later than 10 working days before the event. 50% of the registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received more than 10 working days before the event. No refund is available where notice of cancellation is received less than 10 working days before the event. Substitution of attendees is allowed, but written notice is required for all cancellations and substitutions. It is not possible to transfer registration between events. If in-person sessions are cancelled because of lockdowns or COVID restrictions, the entire conference will continue online as scheduled. Holders of tickets for day 1 online attendance will be offered the opportunity to purchase online tickets for day 2 as well. Holders of tickets for face-to-face sessions will be refunded the difference, meaning they will pay only the online price.
Payment Options: Cheque / Money Order, Electronic Funds Transfer, Credit Card
The final step of the registration / order process lets you choose your payment method. Credit card payments may be made online or by telephone, and an invoice is provided if you would prefer to pay by cheque, money order or electronic funds transfer.
