If these questions are important to you, we invite you to join us for a practical, hands-on workshop for funders, community organisations and policy makers (in fact, anyone who is interested in 'making a difference') on how to measure, manage, monetise and communicate the impact of your work.

This expert-led workshop will answer your questions about the emerging practice of social impact measurement and how to use it to create a more dynamic and effective organisation. You will learn from one of Australia?s most experienced practitioners and take away valuable and practical tools you can put to work straight away.

You will explore:

  • The difference between ?outcomes?, ?outputs? and ?impact? and why it is important
  • The current best practice tools in use around the world ? and how to choose the one that?s best for you
  • How to put Social Return on Investment (SROI) to work in your organisation
  • How social impact measurement can transform your organisation, build more effective programs and ignite your fundraising

About the trainer

Ross Wyatt, Founder, Think Impact

Ross Wyatt

Ross is one of Australia?s leading social impact practitioners who has spent many years advising industry, government and the community sector in social impact ? that is, how to measure the things that make life worthwhile.

Ross is a former leader at Starlight Children?s Foundation and more recently the founder and Director of the Social Sustainability team at a leading sustainability advisory firm. In this role he advised many of Australia?s largest organisations on how to factor human costs into their decisions. Ross is a respected thought-leader in the field of social impact and is a contributor to conferences and forums. He is often sought as a facilitator, speaker and trainer and is on the National Steering Committee of the Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SIMNA) and a judge in the Banksia Sustainability Awards.

Bookings, Cancellation and Refunds Policy:
Registrations must be paid no later than 10 working days prior to the event. 50% of the registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received more than 10 working days prior to the event; NO REFUND is available where notice of cancellation is received less than 10 working days prior to the event. Substitution of attendees is allowed. Written notice is required for cancellations and substitutions. It is not possible to transfer registration between events.
